FORMAT OF PLAY

- SHOT-GUN: 7:45a.m.
- FORMAT OF PLAY: 18 Holes Scramble, 3-Player Team, with a Team Handicap. *No player will be allowed to have more than 18 Handicap. IF A PLAYER HAS NO AN OFFICIAL HANDICAP will be playing the event with 0.
- TEAM HANDICAP: will be the 15% of the sum of the three players hdcp. Example: 5 + 10 + 18 = 33 *15% = 4.95 (5 Team Handicap)
- TEES: Gentlemen will play from the BLUE TEES, Ladies RED TEES. Seniors 65+ with average of 200 yds Drive distance or less, can play the Gold Tees.
- SCORE CARD: It is mandatory to switch the scorecard with the other team on your group, turn Scorecards into Golf Shop immediately upon completion of play.
- MULLIGANS: Can only be purchased on Friday Night at the Calcutta Auction. Mulligan Receipt ticket must be presented to the opposing team scorer prior to use. Mulligan can be used ONLY on the TEE BOX, and one mulligan shot, per player only.
- ALL THE TEAMS: that buy a $100usd Tee Shot Ticket, will be able to play the 18th Hole from the 200 yards marked.
- THE BALL IN PLAY: maybe moved one standard Grip Length from the original lie. The ball must be placed in the same type of area.
RULES
- The R&A Golf Association and the following Local Rules and definitions govern play.
- Drop Areas: on #5, #7 and #10, #15 and #17 defined with white paint circles.
- The Flower Beds: with rock borders and trees no higher than “Two Driver” (golf club) are considered mandatory relief.
- Pace of Play: (rule 6-7) a player shall be subject to penalty if he unduly delays play. The Local Rule: 1st Call: warning / 2nd Call: One stroke Penalty / 3rd Disqualified.
- RULES COMMITTEE: Jonathan Raineau, Nick Costas and Christian Morera.
SCRAMBLE
- Each player must contribute 4 Drives off the Tee, including par 3. To be verified by the team you are playing with.
- The ball in play may be moved one standard grip length from the original lie.
- The ball must be placed in the same type of area, and you cannot move a ball out of the rough or a sand trap even if the standard grip length does so.
- A ball on the fringe of the green cannot be moved on to the putting surface even if the standard grip length would do so.
- A ball in the Penalty Areas or Out of Bounds cannot be moved back into play even if the standard grip length would do so.
- All holes must be putted out and the first ball in the hole will be the team score.
- The ball must be marked on the putting surface in order to have additional putts.
- A short putt missed without a marker cannot be replayed.
- Each team will keep the other teams score.
- Check your scorecard thoroughly at the end of the round before signing it. Once the card is turned in there are no changes made!
No player will be allowed to have more than an 18 handicap.
